Lattes and Yoga

While coffee drips through the espresso machine and milk froths in the frother, I slump into Downward Facing Dog then move into Plank a few times or I do a Headstand.

What do you do while coffee drips?

About Faye Lynn

Barefoot and Breathless is a contemporary romance, chick-lit, women's fiction novel about a single mother looking for love, dealing with her son's growing independence, overcoming a past abusive relationship, trying to stay true to her morals, and teaching in a public at-risk school. It's a light, fun read with a writing style of Rachel Gibson meets Janet Evanovich. Like the heroine in Barefoot and Breathless, I'm a teacher, yogi, and single mother. I hope you enjoy reading my posts, and I look forward to reading your comments. Carpe Diem, Faye Lynn

This sounds like an amazing and peaceful way to start the day! I just started doing yoga and so far I really like it. I’m going to have to try this while I wait for my coffee in the morning. Thanks for the idea! Reading your bio and this post I think you’d really like this book I just finished called “Secrets of a Spiritual Guru” by Tamara Lee Dorris. I loved it and it somewhat pokes fun at serious topics. You should check out her website, http://tamaradorris.net/ and some of the other books she’s written. Thanks again for the idea to do a few yoga poses in the morning, usually I sit on the couch and catch the news while I wait for my coffee to finish, but I think things are about to change!
